# Saved recipients

Save the people your workspace sends to most so they're quick to add to an envelope.

## The Recipients page

Open **Recipients** in the sidebar. The page has two lists:

- **Saved**: people your workspace has saved, sorted by name.
- **From envelopes**: people on this workspace's recent envelopes who aren't saved yet. This list fills itself as you send.

Each list shows **Name**, **Email**, **Envelopes** (how many envelopes they're on) and **Last envelope**. Use **Search by name or email** to filter.

Saved recipients belong to the workspace, so everyone in it sees the same list.

## Save someone

1. Select **Add recipient**, or select **Save** next to someone under **From envelopes**.
2. Enter an **Email** and, optionally, a **Full name**.
3. Select **Save recipient**.

Each email can be saved once per workspace. People are never saved automatically.

## See someone's envelopes

Select a person to see when they were saved, how many envelopes they're on, and their most recent envelopes. **Find in Envelopes** in the **⋯** menu opens the Envelopes list filtered to their email. In sandbox mode, only sandbox envelopes are listed. See [Sandbox](/docs/sandbox).

For a saved recipient, **Send an envelope** starts a new envelope with them as the first signer.

## Add them to an envelope

In the envelope editor, start typing in **Add by name or email**. Saved recipients are suggested first, then recent people from your envelopes. Pick one to fill in their name and email. See [Recipients and roles](/docs/recipients-and-roles) for choosing what each person does.

Suggestions don't appear when you set up roles on a template.

## Edit or remove

Open the **⋯** menu on a saved recipient:

- **Edit** changes the name or email. Select **Save changes**.
- **Remove** takes them off the saved list. Select **Remove** to confirm.

Envelopes they're already on don't change either way.

> [!NOTE]
> Saved recipients are available on every plan. Only workspace owners and admins can add, edit or remove them. Other members can view the list and use it when adding recipients.
