# Signing inbox

See every envelope sent to your email address in one place, sign what's waiting on you, and download completed copies.

## Who sees it

Every eSignStack account has a **Signing inbox** in the sidebar. It lists envelopes sent to your account's email address from any sender and any workspace, including workspaces you aren't a member of. The badge on the sidebar item counts envelopes waiting on you.

Your email address must be verified. Envelopes already sent to you appear once you verify, and new ones are added as they're sent.

Envelopes sent to shared addresses, such as info@ or support@, aren't added automatically. One is added when you finish it from its email link while signed in.

## Getting there

- Select **Signing inbox** in the sidebar.
- Invitation emails end with "Already have an account? Sign in to view all your documents." The link opens the sign-in page. After you sign in, open **Signing inbox**.
- On the dashboard, **Needs attention** lists what's waiting on you in the current workspace, with a link to anything from other senders in your signing inbox.
- If you sign while signed in, the completion page links to your signing inbox.

## What's listed

The signing inbox shows envelopes that are in progress or completed. Drafts and voided, declined or expired envelopes don't appear.

| Column | Shows |
| --- | --- |
| **Document** | The envelope name and your role |
| **Status** | **Pending**, **Signed**, **Approved**, **Acknowledged**, **Completed** or **Declined** |
| **Sent by** | The sender and their workspace |
| **Date sent** | When the envelope was sent |
| **Signed** | When you signed |

Use **Search documents...** to find an envelope by name. The status menu filters to **Pending** (waiting on you) or **Signed**. Select the **Document**, **Date sent** or **Signed** column header to sort. On a phone, use the sort menu instead.

## Actions

- **Sign now** appears when it's your turn. It opens the signing page, even if the link in your email has expired. Approvers and people who need to acknowledge use the same button.
- **Download** appears once the envelope is completed. If it has more than one document, choose **All documents (one PDF)** or a single file under **Each document**.
- Select a row to see its details: who sent it, when it was sent, signed and completed. Any extra files from the completed envelope are listed under **Completed files**.

## Without an account

Recipients don't need an account. They open the envelope from the email link and sign there.

After someone finishes without being signed in, the completion page shows **Keep your signed copy** with a **Create a free account** button. Their name and email are filled in, and the link works for 48 hours. **No thanks** hides the offer.

Once they verify their email, earlier envelopes sent to that address appear in their signing inbox. See [Sign-in and security](/docs/account-security) for account settings.
